Three of our athletes represented Mpumalanga at the South African Athletics Relay Championships in Pietermaritzburg this past weekend. They are Mphile Zikalala, Mpilwentsha Nkosi and Gizelle van den Berg. We are proud to announce that
all three athletes were awarded medals at the event.
The results were as follow:

GOLD MEDALS:
Mpilwentsha Nkosi was a member of the Boys U/18 4X100m relay team, and they came first with a time of 0:42.32.

BRONZE MEDALS:
Mphile Zikalala took part in the Boys U/20 4X400m relay in which his team came third with a time of 03:22.70.
Gizelle van den Berg ran in the Girls U/16 4x200m relay, and her team took third place during the championship. Their time was 01:50.60. She was also part of the Girls U/16 Swedish relay (100m, 200m, 300m, 400m). They also won a bronze medal for this event with a time of 02:29.9.
